Does anyone have any suggestion for an application that can allow me to: - import street-level maps (either from AutoCad's DWG/DXF or scanned maps) - assign "points" or "cells" on that map to which I can tie some information to (e.g. pole number, number of wires attached, etc.) preferably thru a MySQL/PgSQL database I've been told to look at GIS solutions and I am currently looking at GRASS. Do any of you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
