i see that urpmq --auto-select shows me all packages that could be
updated (*if* the update urpmi.cfg entry is correct).  and urpmi --auto-select
allows me to install all updates found (although i doubt if i'd do that, i'd
probably want to test everything first and install the updates one at a time
to make sure everything works).

heh, reading the man page would have made things clear, of course. but
the article makes it clearer.
