To all linux enthusiasts, the UPLB Computer Science Society invites you to our 21st Computer Science Week on January 19-23, 2004 with the theme "FREeVOLUTION: The Open Source Revolution". In pursuit of our mission to encourage creative appreciation and wider application of Computer Science in the Philippine Society, we are planning to include activities such as an exhibit, a career orientation, a course orientation, network gaming tournament, quiz contest, and an inter-laboratory programming competition in this weeklong affair.

Anyone here interested to be a guest speaker for the Career Orientation? We need somebody who can share their experience, as well, as their expertise in the field of computer science with regards to Open Source on January 22, 2004. This Career Orientation will serve as a symposium for UPLB graduating computer science majors, as well as other computer science students from other schools, to enlighten and guide them on the opportunities they will encounter and the career path they will pursuit after their graduation. The orientation will be held at the SEARCA Auditorium, 1-5 pm.

Please contact me personally via email to anyone interested.

Hope someone here is wiiling to share their time to enlighten computer science students in the career that they had chosen.

Thank you very much and may God continue to bless you in all your endeavors!
