based on your email "I can't see the other computer running Windows
Operating System" windows and Linux are different, you don't just install
and plug it in. On Linux you have to configure it step by step. One solution
we can give you is, install Samba from samba.org. A local package is also
pre-configured I think, that is if you have installed this software packages
from the start.

Samba, its a package that allows Windows and Linux to be seen on your
network neighborhood, transfer files, mount your share and many many more.
