Using Postgresql 7.4.1, whenever I create a new database, it always contains the following tables: sql_features, sql_implementation_info, sql_languages, sql_packages, sql_sizing and sql_sizing_profiles. This is true whether I use template1 or template0. Is this the case for earlier versions? I was told by the developer of an applicatin that requires postgres, that the newly created database should be empty. What gives?
