how about deleting the file containing the cache?

hi list,

i've successfully implemented caching xml transformations and database
resultsets with the help of PEAR::Cache. my problem is, i want to add
an option that can purge the cache container. anyone? i've already
tried calling Cache->remove() and Cache->flush() methods but the cache
was not purged. i also googled for some solution but i cannot find any
substantial resource so i opted to ask those who have
'been-there-done-that.'

thanks you very much.
