I'm not contesting the claim if it's qualified as "wide adoption"
because we're still far from that. But "early" adopters <> "wide"
adopters. And by "early", I'm talking about a decade ago. Back then,
there were people from the private sector who were interested in Linux
too, but the early adopters I'm talking about were from the academe.
I guess I'm just being nitpicky about the conclusions.

Then again, institutional/organizational adoption is also not the same
as individual adoption of Linux.
