Hi,

I'm using RH9. I just upgraded my kernel from 2.4.20-8 to 2.6.3.
Everything went fine when I did the `make menuconfig`+`make dep`+ +`make
bzImage`+`make modules`+`make modules_install`.

To make the story short, I'm actually using the new kernel now as
I composed this mail with Evolution.

The problem is, my sound card doesn't function. It used to function
before (using my previous kernel). I tried running the `modprobe`
but the error `QM_MODULES: Function not implemented` appears,
rather.

I visited my .config file with Kernel 2.6.3 to check that all
modules support settings have been applied when I compiled it - and
its okay I did.

Is there something I missed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

PS: I also compiled and successfully installed (without problem) the
module-init-tools-3.0.

Thanks,
