SCO's case is only good for media mileage if you ask me. It's been 
almost a year since SCO started threatening everyone. You might want to 
try looking for Novell and RedHat's countersuit against SCO. Novell's 
case is quite interesting considering SCO (or Caldera) got UNIX (or its 
marketing license) from Novell.

Also worth taking a look is NMAP's new release and rescinding SCO's use 
of NMAP. Ouch.
