Dear Listers,
I know this may not be the most appropriate forum for this question but I'm
getting desperate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
All of the components are running without a hitch, save perhaps pam_mysql.
/var/log/auth.log spews out the following errors whenever i try to check
mail.

I realize it has to do with MySQL complaining about table mail.log not
existing but for the life of me I can't figure out where it should go or why
its not where its supposed to be in the first place.
BTW, I installed MySQL from the Mandrake 9.2 rpms. Same goes for PAM.
Everything else was built from source.
