I think the courts have decided Andy. That's why M$ had to unbundle IE. > Back then we felt that bundling a browser with an OS was unnecessary, MS > argued otherwise and we didn't agree with them, but today no one considers > an OS complete if it doesn't come without a browser (just like for a text > editor and, in *nixheads' cases, a compiler). Apparently, MS saw further > than most of us did... M$ did more than jusat bundle it. They made it an integral part of Windows. That's why it was a monopolistic practice. M$ saw further than us alright. Thgey saw it wasa good way to stick it to their competitors! M$ has been using unfair monopolitiswc practices for quite a while. That's why the EU fined them. Perhaps you haven't been keeping up with the news. That for most rational people is reasonable cause not to trust M$.
