isn't it that the gatekeeper should enforce authentication? 

i would suggest you switch from h323 to SIP. SIP works behind
firewalls better. you can get Xlite from xten.com for free. you
can also use kphone on linux. plus, if you register to
fwd.pulver.com you can call any US phone number for free.
