but if you're hard-headed and you want to add a swap file, here's how to 
do it.

dd if=/dev/zero of=/mnt/my_swap_file bs=1M count=18000
mkswap /mnt/my_swap_file
swapon /mnt/my_swap_file

just change the first line to reflect the realities of your situation.
