I am setting up my Internet connection via LAN. I cannot put up my lan card. *ifconfig eth0 up* has an error written like this: SIOCSIFFLAGS: Function not implemented. I checked the /var/log/messages I cannot understand this part:
Executing /etc/ifplugd/ifplugd.action eth0 up dhclient: sit0: unknown hardware addresstype 776 client: Determining IP information for eth0...SIOCSIFFLAGS: Function not implemented client: SIOCSIFFLAGS: Function not implemented I have a LAN card packaged with my mobo. The driver is ok: via-rhine. Any suggestions how I can gracefully set up this thing? Thank you. prem ===== [Prem's blog] http://www.premrara.com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
