Hi. I have installed FC1, RH9 and MDK9.2 on an HP Proliant ML370 G3, which has similar
specs with that of ML350. There were hiccups while setting up RH9 (problems with
recognizing CD media, I think -- my fault, not RH9's), but with FC1 and MDK9.2, it was
a breeze.

I'm currently running FC1 on that machine -- it's a staging server but I've loaded it
with updates and stuff, and I'm thinking of putting it on production. Just don't know
if that is wise -- using FC1 for production, that is. Any insights on that?

Some tips: use SmartStart to prepare the ML350, for pre-flight, etc. If you have Smart
Controller, then by all means, use it. I have three Ultra3 SCSI disks on Raid1 config,
and it's working sweetly. Also, I haven't fully utilized iLO, which would be nice if
you're going for a headless deployment. And, oh, prepare a block driver disk, and a
boot disk, just in case.
