A controversial report, scheduled for release today by a Washington, 
D.C., think tank, suggests that Minix, a UNIX clone, may deserve more 
credit for Linux than Linus Torvalds, long hailed as the creator of the 
open source OS. In an e-mail interview, Torvalds strongly disputed the 
study's conclusions.
