Alben,

Pare try this:

1. Create a file containing the url that you want to block. E.g:
/etc/squid/block.url

2. Edit /etc/squid/squid.conf and add this before your http_access deny
all line:

acl URLDeny url_regex -i "/etc/squid/block.url"
http_access deny URLDeny

this acl will block every url containing the strings that you will
specify on your /etc/squid/block.url file

Hi All!

Is there any way of detecting if mounted removable
storage -- floppy, zip, card, whatever -- has been
physically removed from the drive?

as long as there are no new entries that would take its place
and as long as there's power on the switch.
