Hello there.
Why not try using netstat? There you can see all of the ports being used
including the ip using it.
#netstat -vat
by the way, are you working in genetic? What branch? I was once the
academic head of you north edsa branch.

Hi guys.. im here to ask again.. hehe .. thanks for the answers on my
previous questions anyway.. :D
I have a problem with our network.. it seems to generate excessive
network
traffic.. it also displays a fast blinking activity on our switch hub..
I
was just wondering if there is an open source utility program to monitor
this kind of activity.. as in pin-point which pc or at least which ip
address broadcasts a lot of traffic.. our workstations are mostly win32
based.. so I'm suspecting a viruses are causing this..
