No offense also, but
there are a number of Kernel developers who dont have that title.
or who does not seem to care about it at all, whom some I recon. 
Even the 'old timers' in the embedded area. But the knowldge
and the _contributions they have in their field would amaze you.

You as a regular poster in PLUG, Id rather believe in you, than
some bregaider general Ph.D, I havent heard of.
