Let me make this simple:

DON'T DO IT.

No, no no no no and no again.

If you even have to ask the above question, you are not ready to do
this.  Your machine will be 0wn'd quickly.  This is not something that
you want to do.

Check out "webmin", which will likely do whatever it was that you wanted
to do.
