I am trying to install OPIE on an old Ipaq 3630 but I don't have a serial connector. I read on the net that a USB connection can now be used (http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/familiar/171/17155.html).
I have already installed the bootloader. I now need minicom to talk to the Ipaq via usbserial. An lsmod shows that usb serial is running: ... usb-uhci 25964 0 (unused) usbcore 78368 1 [usbserial hid usb-uhci] ext3 70532 2 jbd 51732 2 [ext3] However, when I change the Serial Device in minicom to /dev/ttyUSB0, I get the error message: minicom: cannot open /dev/ttyUSB0: No such device Am I missing something? - Andoy -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
