What do you mean by write cycle problems with flash devices? Custom filesystems? I've repartitioned my flash drive using fdisk (not the MSDOS version), and used mkfs.vfat and mkfs.ext3 on it without problems so far. Just wondering what you meanth by flash devices using their own custom filesystems.
