Hello PLUGgers,
In behalf of the Philippine Linux Users' Group, Inc., I would like to invite
all of you to attend the next PLUG, Inc. General Assembly on September 25,
2004 which will be held at Asia Pacific College[1] and will start at around
8:00AM.
For those who volunteered to conduct the technical seminars in the morning namely:
- Mike Liguit: Linux Security Practices
- Paolo Falcone: Python Programming
- Ariz Jacinto: Linux Clustering or PHP Web Development
- Lito Lampitoc: Linux Mail Services
- Dong Calmada: OpenOffice.org
please start making your slides now. :)
Just keep on checking your inbox because one of these days the online
pre-registration form will be posted and the technical seminars will be a
first-come, first-serve basis.
The General Assembly might start in the afternoon but the definite time is not
yet confirmed simply because we don't know yet on what time will finish the
technical seminars. Also, we encourage that there will be more "oldbies"
during the GA and it's definitely open to everyone. The more people who will
attend the GA, the better.
