Hi.

Please help on how to speed up my warcraft intalled on network drive.

I have a Warcraft 1.17 installed on my FC1 running Samba thru network
map, then i have an ISO of the Warcraft CD on the same machine where
it is loaded by daemon tools. I have problems with very slow read
during start up and loading of map.

Im using a WinXP, im the only one using the files mentioned. The FC1
server is on the same subnet.NIC settings 10/100 Full duplex. FC1 is
2.6GHz ,512 DDR, 80Gig HD.

My config with useless things removed is:
[global]
socket options = SO_KEEPALIVE TCP_NODELAY SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_RCVBUF=8192
default = homes
auto services = storage
read size = 1024
password server = None
dns proxy = no
os level = 20

I cant install my warcraft on my WinXP, i have no more room. i already
exausted 80 Gig HD ;p

TIA
