Upgrading Bayanihan Linux 3.0 to 3.1:<snip>
Upgrade from Bayanihan Linux 3.0 to 3.1 is possible but KDE does not
show up during start-up. Fortunately, there is a workaround to this
problem. You must provide a symbolic link from qt-3.3 library to qt-3.1
to make it work. To solve this problem, do the following:
1. Login as root. 2. Type: ln -s /usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib /usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib 3. Restart the computer.
restart the computer? couldn't the user just restart a service or something? just curious. :)
ciao!
