Wrong. Most people don't know the cost of Windows since it's rolled into the total cost of a system. When people have to buy it separately, well, let's say that they rarely buy it from Microsoft. Microsoft had a silly page on their site for sometime that warned users to not buy a naked pc. Now I see that they have an entry in their "dictionary" which correctly observes that many people buy them to put Linux on. Anyway, no, Microsoft and the BSA are against this. Expect to hear from them. You folks (and I mean all of you) need to be contacting Arroyo's office NOW to get Linux put on these pc's. Microsoft will fight you, and they will fight dirty. Trust me, they fight dirty here. They have many, many more avenues of dirtiness in the Philippines.
