I'm currently experimenting on it using Knoppix 3.6
(http://www.knoppix.org). There are also binary installers for
different Linux flavors.

It's better than VNC in my opinion. We're planning to use it as a
remote desktop access for our Linux workstations so we can continue
coding our projects at home :)
