Continuing my tunneling saga... I need to set up persistent SSH tunnels between two hosts. If the link breaks, we need to reconnect.
What I'm thinking is to setup public key-based authentication, and run ssh in a 'while' loop. Do you have a more sophisticated solution? I've read on this topic and found that OpenVPN fits the requirement. I'll have to open up some firewall ports both at the local and remote sites for this (udp 5000).
