Dear PLUGers,

Good afternoon everyone! I am being challenged by a colleague from
Hong Kong. Here is the scenario. --------------
                                         | AS400 |
                                         --------------
                                               |
                                               |
                                       ------------------
                                      { INTERNET }
                                      --------------------
                                       / \
                                     / \
                                    / \
                             Primary ISP Backup ISP
                                     \ /
                                      \ /
                                    ------------------------
                                    | Linux Server |
                                    ------------------------
                                               |
                                               |
                                          LAN Clients

Presently our users connect to our AS400 server in HK via the Primary
ISP, and my proposal is to subscribe to another ISP to act as backup
connection in-case the Primary ISP goes down. I have read some
articles on BGP, RIP, RIPv2, etc. I'm pretty much confused on which
protocol/technology should I use to solve my case.

TIA,

Carlex
