Sir, thanx for your response.
Found out what was wrong. The database was MS Access and Sun's ASP doesn't support
DSN-less connections to MS Access... ^_^
thanx. GOD bless!

ODBC driver to MSSQL or ? have you tried
loading a simple ASP-based DB app on this?
does it yield the same result?

gurus:

i've recently set-up something as stated in my subject and has been consistently
encountering errors:

Error Type:
ADODB.Connection.1 (0x800A0BB9)
The application is using arguments that are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.
Connections/inc_conn_news.asp, line 4

This app runs ok on M$ II$. So it wouldn't hav something to do with the page
being loaded. My guess is Sun's provided ODBC driver is causing the problem.
Has anyone encounterd this error on a fairly similar set-up or was able to set-up and
configure the same succesfully?
Thanx and GOD bless!
