In my organization we are starting to use Xandros 2.5 Business in several departments. Unfortunately we use M$ Office corporate wide, and Xandros allows us to use that, while giving us the Linux desktop that we want.

I also always make sure there's a PDF viewer available on the computer I'm presenting on, and I carry it on my USB key (which is a small pendant; it's so cute!). I'll probably only have problems with Windows 98 computers. I guess I should carry N floppy disks for this case? <laugh> But yes, a notebook is the best solution if you're making lots of presentations. Pick something that has a built-in VGA port. I lost my VGA connector some time ago, and that's just been annoying. -- Sacha Chua <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - open source geekette http://sacha.free.net.ph/ - PGP Key ID: 0xE7FDF77C interests: emacs, gnu/linux, personal information management, CS ed applying as a Debian new maintainer | looking for a grad school -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
