I have set the permission to my /dev/cdwrite--> /dev/hdc and /dev/hdc to 660 where my user is part of the group. I can blank cdrw's but I can't write them. Here is the error from cdrecord
cdrecord: Cannot allocate memory. WARNING: Cannot do mlockall(2). cdrecord: WARNING: This causes a high risk for buffer underruns. cdrecord: Operation not permitted. WARNING: Cannot set RR-scheduler cdrecord: Permission denied. WARNING: Cannot set priority using setpriority(). cdrecord: WARNING: This causes a high risk for buffer underruns. scsidev: '/dev/hdc' Is there another way aside from making cdrecord setuid root? which file do I have to set permissions to find RR-scheduler? -- Allan M.
