Interesting. On what machine "roles" (eg: production
file/database/email/proxy server? home server? workstation?) have you
tried Reiser4 on? With what Linux kernel?

I've been a fan of XFS for some time now, and have been using it since
around 2001 and have been quite happy with it (had "rough times" with it
before, largely because of faulty RAM, but recent history's been pretty
smooth sailing). I use it on everything from production servers to
workstations to my laptop. I find XFS to be an acceptable middle ground
as far as performance and stability are concerned.
