Hello All,
i recently had to upgrade a LEAF router in the office.
We were using a Pentium 133 with 64mb RAM. Aside from
complaints of network sluggishness, logging into the
router took 30 secs to a minute, but when i ran top,
system load was virtually 0. i immediately deduced
that the network traffic may just be too much for the
router, so i immediately replaced it.
is there a more accurate way of telling if the router
was indeed being overwhelmed by network traffic? Are
there any counters i should be looking into? Any
utilities?
Thanks in advance.
