Bryan,
I have three production servers all running Slackware,
IMHO, Slackware is just rock solid, no BS distro and only uses the most
stable compilation of programs available.
Do you have any examples wherein an application needs security patches and
Slackware did not provide a patched package? :)

I'm going on my opinion, so IMO, yes... You might
have to do the
patching yourself, from source. Anyway, if you're
going Slak, I figure
you better know what you're doing.
