It's still a point to point connection...
e.g. you can install a VDSL console modem at the output
of the PABX equipment, ride on the local telephone cable
until the handset.  Just before the handset, you split the line
back to an ethernet port and a handset.

phone     +----------+                +-----------+phone
----------|  VDSL    |----------------|  VDSL     |---------  handset
----------|          |   local phone  |  CPE      |---------  PC
ethernet  +----------+                +-----------+ ethernet

Note that it will conflict with PLDT DSL so be careful
when you use it with PLDT telephone lines -- 
to play safe, play only with the PABX local lines.
