hmm if you don't have warnquota on cron it's handled by something else
`crontab -l` whats in there?

try running a test on sendmail
% cat << EOF | sendmail -t
 from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
 to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
 test
 EOF

[EMAIL PROTECTED] should receive that test email
