Canonical has released a letter in PDF format that can be used for convincing custom officials that the CD packages are not for sale, hence should not be subjected to custom tax. Unfortunately on my case, the letter was posted a few months after. Though I tried explaining to the custom official the CDs were not for sale and I am not obliged to pay any tax for it, he insisted that I should pay for it. > Its either this or just ask Canonical to channel the CDs to PLUG or to > their local representatives.
