Yeah, apparently the H710 mini is not one of them, nor is the H310 mini, where "mini" indicates it uses the proprietary Dell motherboard connector for the RAID controller. Apparently there are subtle differences between the one with the special connector and the PCIe versions. At least, all of the instructions I have found have indicated that they don't work on the non-PCIe versions.
