After I sent my email last night I remembered NAT vs. Bridged from when I set up VirtualBox. I expect that's where I need to go with this.

That looks useful.

Seems to be a lot more complex than it is in other VM host environments.
But I haven't tried it, maybe it's easier than it looks....

That's what I'm finding, too. But, it's available to me, and I can still work with my VirtualBox setup until I get QEMU working.
