Hello

I upgraded my system from openSuse leap 42.3 to the newer leap 15.0, but after rebooting have discovered problems connecting with the internet and with running the kde sudo command which is required to do root commands.

I am right now not so much worried about the inability to use the kde-sudo, as my inability to successfully resolve the domain names.

Here is what I know is working

1. The system connects to the local lan 192.168.0.1 just fine
2. The system is unable to go out on the internet using a domain name such as "www.google.com" (Firefox says something wrong)
3. The system is able to ping a DNS server at 75.75.75.75 just fine

It seems like the DNS resolver is not working or going out to the DNS server?

What do I need to check to localize the problem?

Until I get this fixed, my machine is more or less isolated and cannot get the software upgrades it needs.
