Hi, Sorry for lack of specifics -

1. Windows 10 not installed

2. Selected F2 on BIOS for Laptop to boot from CD

3. Have not installed Windows 10 ( Plan to avoid Dual Boot )

4. Using Linux Format Magazine CD – Ubuntu 16.04

5. Boot Mode is not Legacy but set at default on UFEI

6.Moved Boot Order from Windows Boot Manager to EFI DVD / CD ROM

7. Saved settings.

8. System keeps returning to Original Boot order – Windows Boot Manager.

9. Initially, a Message was displayed - ? Exact wording but - System
prevented

unauthorized Disc to be loaded .

10. Now , System ignores boot order & defaults to loading Windows installer.

More details would help solve the problem.
are you having problems with network connectivity?
at what point during the install process are you getting error messages?
what are they?
