Dick,

Ok, your xorg server and mesa appear to be running correctly.  Did you
download the 32-bit or the 64-bit source package from SBo?  Its working
on a Slackware64-current box here, I'll test on the Slackware64-14.2
once I have that one reassembled.

Open a terminal and run

google-earth-pro

to see if it spits out any complaints.
