I do believe that it's a Perl module. To install (as root):
# perl -MCPAN -e shell
Terminal does not support AddHistory.
cpan shell -- CPAN exploration and modules installation (v2.11)
Enter 'h' for help.
cpan[1]> install Glib.pm

Would installing perl-glib from Slackbuilds achieve the same thing?
Installation via Slackbuilds is what I currently understand how to do. I
haven't had any experience using Perl.
