I am setting up my second machine with Xubuntu 18.04. Mostly it is going
smoothly. I'm having trouble with ClamAV and ClamTK. When I run ClamTK I
get the GUI, but the only thing that happens when I click on the buttons
is that the button backgrounds change to red.
When I run freshclam from a terminal I get this:

The instructions at https://www.clamav.net/documents/upgrading-clamav
tell me: "If you installed from a package, we suggest you find the
approved package from your distro provider and install that.
In Synaptic, the "Mark for Upgrade" option is grayed out.
Any ideas on what I should do next?
