Mageia is breaking my heart ... been with them since Mandrak 9, when
RedHat left me in the dust. But when Mageia moved from KDE4 to
Plasma5, they left Mageia5 almost an orphan (I know that was that
there were so many changes between the two versions of desktops ... so
like M$) They promise that Mageia6 to Mageia7 will be better, but now
they want to drop seamonkey/iceape, when that has the best email
client I have ever seen! Now I am in the corner crying my eyes out
... what next, I say?
So, I am here to ask for opinion ... if I move from Mageia, where to?
Thank you
Regards

Slackware still has Seamonkey and I don't think it will be removed
anytime soon. If Pat tries to get rid of it people will probably riot
and start flipping cars.
14.2 (the latest stable release) is also still on KDE4. Even if 15.0
moves to Plasma5, 14.2 will still be supported for major fixes for quite
some time. Since most distros have decided to move forward with desktop
metaphor stuff, you might want to take a peek at slack.
The base install has Seamonkey and KDE 4, you don't need to worry about
installing anything from a repo. Things can sometimes get rough with
thirdparty packages , but based on your requirements so far Slackware
has most everything you care about in the base install.
