My 17" laptop display is still usable, but probably not for much longer. I was trying to figure out if I could purchase a replacement, but I can't find any way to find out what I have. The display is in a System76 laptop (made in China by Clevo) and, at close to six years of age they no longer have parts. I haven't done much shopping yet because the first step is to figure out what I need. From the command line "grep "NVIDIA(GPU-0)" /var/log/Xorg.0.log" revealed that Chi Mei Optoelectronics corp. was involved in the manufacture, but what the model number is remains elusive.
