"Double the amperage" is nonsense... These power supplies are constant-voltage, the amperage is merely reporting how much current is available. Go into any <strike>Radio Shack</strike> and they will tell you that you need to match the voltage of the power supply, and EXCEED the Amperage <>Oh, wait...</>.
The problem is that there is a TON of PoE equipment out there that doesn't follow 802.11af... I'm not an expert in Ubiquity expert, but there are also a ton of Amateur Radio operators out there using Bullet M2-HPs on field deployable networks... How are they powering them?
