Now that was GOOD. I use Raspberry Pi's and find that not all "high power" i.e. 2.4 or 2.5amp rated devices actually will keep the Pi happy, usually it is either that the PSU is boarder line or the cable is a piece of crap with say 28ga wires trying to carry from 1.5 to 2 amps to the Pi. In this case I am not worried about speed but the port being able to source power to the sink. If the red indicator LED on a RPi (is is next to the green one which flashes as the RPi accesses "memory" flashes off the power has dropped below 4.5vdc. So I check power supplies and put a ugly (ooogly as UK buddy of mine says) load on the RPi to get it to pull full power (process a 4K video stream that is usually enough to run the processor way up there demand wise) If the red LED does not go out, I have a keeper PSU for an RPi.
Now with all of that info that gives me even more of an idea of what I am dealing with. VERY GOOD and THANK YOU!!!
