you can buy it from me at Sunday's clinic.
No need, as I'll borrow one from Wes on Sunday. In any event, the
Free Geek store is open on Sundays now, so I can get it myself if
needed. But thanks for the thought!
As Tomas said, there's really no need to open up the laptop. Just boot
a live distribution from a flash drive and do the partitioning and
copying from it. Knoppix would be my choice too, but an Ubuntu install
image would probably work.
